Yana Ross is a Lithuanian-American director based in Vilnius with extensive international work in Sweden,
\nIceland, Norway and Germany. She developed a unique artistic practice through constant shift of cultural
\nperspectives and deep ensemble work. From 2019 till 2024 she was part of a collective artistic leadership at Schauspielhaus Z\u00fcrich where her work toured to Venice Biennale, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National Wallonie-Bruxelles and Salzburg Festival. Ross often stages strong female voices such as Maja Zade, Kata Weber, Leila Slimani and Virginie Despentes. She also keeps returing to Anton Chekhov and David Foster Wallace as her perpetual source of inspiration.<\/p>\n
